FOOD FOR HEALTH VOLUNTEERS NURTURE THE GARDENS….RAIN OR SHINE.

Each week the garden looks better and better. Now that we are about halfway through summer our zucchini plants are giving us more zucchinis than we know what to do with! The other plants are close behind. The combination of plenty of rain, using row covers, fighting off the beetles, and of course, the hard work from our gardeners has allowed the garden to thrive. Not only does the garden have vegetables but amongst all the green are some morning glory, bachelor button, and sunflowers in full bloom. The zinnias look much healthier after recovering from the beetles and are due to bloom anytime soon. All the color makes the garden all the more beautiful and pleasant place to be.
