Rain or shine our team of committed ‘Food for Health’ runners and walkers show up for road and core training throughout the week! The good news is it’s NOT too late to join our team – heres how you do it!
The training team meets on Saturday’s at Dick Pond’s.
In addition, Shelley offers Pilates classes during the week for $5 each to prepare your bodies for the marathon.
To join the FVFFH Team you need to do the following:
1. Register for the Fox Valley Marathon at http://www.fv26.com/registration using the code: CH-FVFFH-EM and inserting “Fox Valley Food for Health” in the running for charity section.
2. Contact Molly Molly@FoxValleyFoodforHealth.org to let her know you are part of the team.
3. Contact Shelly ssimmering@sbcglobal.net to let her know you want to be on the training schedule and/or Pilates Schedule.
4. Raise or make a minimum $100 donation to Fox Valley Food for Health. This is separate from the cost of registering for the marathon. If you have friends who you want to make donations on your behalf ask them to go to our website donation page, and click on the Fox Valley Marathon. Under “company name” they can indicate “on behalf of Your Name” so we know who to “credit”.
